The You
I am the You, the You who’s in Me.
I am the Joy and all Suffering.
I am Rain who pours from the sky.
And I am the Desert where we go to die.
I was the Heroes who stormed Normandy.
And I was the Vile who enslaved the free.
I planted our grain and I built our bombs.
I put kids in sweatshops and tore down that wall.
I am the Christ, the Buddha, the Tao.
I’m also the Hitler, the Stalin, the Mao.
I am the Dark who reminds us there’s Light.
I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
I was the Burst who gave forth our lives.
And I’ll be the Hand who wipes dry your eyes.
I Am that I Am, The Great Eternity.
I am the You, the You who’s in Me.
