Jeremiah C. Braudrick is a former Marine, an author, an Adjunct Professor with Mid-America Christian University, and the director of Crossings Community Church's Prison Ministry in Oklahoma City where he oversees one of the largest such ministries in the nation. His ministry enjoys a relationship with every state prison in Oklahoma, bringing hope and friendship to thousands of incarcerated men and women every week. He holds both a Master's in Divinity and in Theology, and a Doctorate in Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has studied and written extensively about many heroes of the Christian faith, such as C.S. Lewis, whom Braudrick had the privilege of studying at Oxford and Cambridge, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, whom he studied in Berlin. He is the author of Removing the Dragon Skin as well as many articles and academic papers including the Guideposts cover article, Jeremiah Braudrick: How C.S. Lewis Helped This Veteran Rediscover his Faith.

Although on paper Jeremiah has assembled a successful public ministry, his bouts with depression, along with a series of life tragedies, (growing up in a cult, occasional bouts with PTSD, the loss of his brother, and more), have caused him to identify more with society’s broken than with the well-to-do and the spiritually secure. He writes often about his vulnerabilities and insecurities, and the Scriptures which bring him comfort. He also enjoys chronicling about the authors who have helped him deal with his low spiritual self-esteem and ways he's learned to address his tendency toward depression.

His favorite role, however, is being a father. Jeremiah and his son, Mason, live in Norman, Oklahoma with their dog Enola. She’s a good girl.
