something already possessed?

A gift is by nature

new.

A surprise.

A change.

The ego demands to be reminded it’s already correct.

Its steps of faith

well researched.

Craftily planned.

The ego demands others agree it’s correct.

Raise your hand and repeat after me:

“You are correct… You are correct…”

Living Water—

never thirsting again.

The Wind blows where it wishes.

We hear its sound

but do not know

from where it came

or

to where it goes.

The gift must be given,

never taken,

only for those prepared for a drink.

No next steps.

No cut this out.

Only readiness and preparedness.

Only openness.

Terrifying, bottomless openness.

Openness to the paradox.

Openness to the change.

Openness to overturn the tables.

The Kingdom of God is near,

within.
